  • Gentle movement and breathwork designed to soothe the nervous system

  • A short talk on how your nervous system responds when under stress and when relaxed, helping you to notice these signals in your own body

  • A rejuvenating restorative yoga practice that will explore finding a deeper, more grounded breath

  • Time for reflection

NATALIE WORKMAN, E-RYT® 200, RYT® 500,YACEP®

Feeling anxious, agitated and lost, Natalie first came to her yoga mat in 2005. After experiencing the immense benefits of yoga, Natalie began to deepen her knowledge of the practices and principles by completing her first Yoga Teacher Training in 2015. As a student, Natalie is constantly in awe of the simple yet potent practices that continue to provide her with the tools needed to live a more present, vibrant and fulfilling life. Drawn to the quieter practices of Yoga Nidra, Restorative, Yin Yoga, pranayama, and meditation; Natalie finds the quieter, more contemplative practices to be the most transformative. As a teacher, Natalie is dedicated to sharing embodied practices and tools to support others on the path. Her mindful offerings are shared from the heart, rooted in tradition and inspired by modern day living.

RACHEL SAXON, E-RYT® 200, RYT® 500,YACEP®

Rachel's curiosity about how the body works led her to earn a BSc in Biochemistry in 2007. She found yoga in 2011 where she quickly gained an appreciation for differing styles, ranging from vinyasa to restorative. She became a certified 200hr yoga teacher in 2013 and has since expanded her knowledge by attending a variety of trainings and workshops, with a keen interest in the slower practices of Restorative and Yin yoga, and myofascial release. Rachel received her 500hr teacher certification with Tiffany Cruikshank in 2021 and holds the title Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist. This training highlighted anatomy and different systems of the body, and how to help the body towards optimal health. Forever a student, she is always excited to learn about the body and apply it to her teaching.

Sankalpa Vision Board Workshop

Gather virtually for a wonderful afternoon of creativity, connection and inspiration.

 

Enjoy a Tantric Hatha yoga practice followed by a powerful sankalpa exercise that will help you get clear about how you want to FEEL in 2022. Then, get creative and craft your very own vision board to keep you inspired throughout the year.

 

Sankalpa is a sanskrit word meaning a heartfelt resolve.

 

Workshop Includes:

  • Yoga Practice (asana, pranayama and meditation)

  • Yoga Nidra

  • Powerful intention setting exercise

  • Time for journaling and reflection

  • Helpful vision board supply list*

  • Creative time

  • Closing circle

Rise & Shine

You'll feel the difference a regular morning yoga and meditation practice can make!

Morning yoga and meditation series to help you create (or maintain) a mindful morning routine. Gather virtually 2x per week to experience dynamic Hatha practices infused with the wisdom of Tantra.

 

Each session will be a unique and responsive blend of asana, pranayama, mantra, meditation, and reflection.

Weekly sessions from January 10 - April 8, 2022 (Monday & Friday)
7:00 - 7:30am EST

24 sessions. No classes week of February 21 - 25, 2022

Nourish your body, mind & soul with Yoga Nidra

In its simplest application Yoga Nidra is a systematic practice intended to induce a peaceful state – physically, mentally, and emotionally. As your relationship with Yoga Nidra deepens, you may also begin to experience it as a profoundly spiritual practice unlocking the door to higher consciousness.

 

Each session will be a unique and responsive blend of gentle movement and nurturing practices designed to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress, improved well-being, and a deeper connection to Self.

 

Studies have shown that Yoga Nidra can:

  • Create deep relaxation

  • Ease insomnia

  • Decrease anxiety

  • Alleviate stress

  • Reduce PTSD, chronic pain, and chemical dependency

  • Heighten awareness and focus

  • Transform negative habits, behaviours, and ways of thinking

  • Foster feelings of peace, calm, and clarity
