EMERGE ~ Rest & Restore Silent Retreat

Emerge from the winter slumber into the season of new beginnings, renewal, and growth during this one-day silent retreat experience.

The day will be a delicious combination of practices and free time to nurture your body, heart, mind, and spirit and connect you to your true nature.

Enjoy hikes, sit in nature, or curl up by the fire and enjoy some quiet time with your journal or a good book.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:
~Personal Lunch + preferred snacks (waste-free containers/reusable utensils)
~Water bottle & favourite travel mug for tea
~Yoga Mat & additional props you may need for your comfort
~Meditation Cushion/Seat
~Journal
~Comfortable clothes for Yoga & Hiking (bring layers/prepared for inclement weather)
~Trail shoes - no sandals or heels - you will be on uneven trails that require good traction
~Rain jacket/Wind jacket (shell) 

~Fleece or insulation layer - dress in layers 

~Quick dry pants (if available)

~Sun protection (hat, sunblock, sunglasses)
~Personal medication - (epinephrine, inhaler, etc)

*Previous yoga and meditation experience recommended

Location: 625 Sager Rd, Troy, Ontario L0R 2B0

The Om Dome is a 700-square-foot (circular) yurt in the heart of the LUNA Homestead of sprawling forests, yurts, trails, farm and wetlands. The Om Dome yurt is a 100% sustainable, off-grid centre; powered by solar panels & wind turbine and heated with a wood stove in the cooler seasons.

Bathroom facilities: Two dry composting outhouses for visitor use.

Please note: The LUNA Homestead is an Alcohol, Drug, and Marijuana free site. It is also a TECHNOLOGY FREE zone; kindly leave your cell phones, smartwatches and other devices in your car.
