Nervous System Reset

Nourish your nervous system during this 2-hour experiential session!
Our nervous system is constantly responding to our environment and day-to-day stressors. With the world at our fingertips, it is easy to become overstimulated and overwhelmed with stimuli and information, leading to heightened activation of the sympathetic nervous system and less time spent in the restorative parasympathetic state. The result? An over-activation of the sympathetic state strains the nervous system and can negatively impact our overall mental & physical health.
One way to address the challenges of modern-day living is to include activities that encourage parasympathetic nervous system response in daily life.
Join Rachel Saxon and Natalie Workman for a session enriched with different modalities curated to foster a calming of the nervous system. Modalities that may be explored include:

Discover Yoga Nidra
New to Yoga Nidra or returning from a practice hiatus? This session is suited for those interested in exploring the benefits of Yoga Nidra and rest practices and those looking for a gentle return to their practice.

In its simplest application, Yoga Nidra is a systematic practice intended to induce a peaceful state – physically, mentally, and emotionally. As your relationship with Yoga Nidra deepens, you may also begin to experience it as a profoundly spiritual practice unlocking the door to higher consciousness.
This introductory workshop includes:

An introduction to some of the common understandings of "Yoga Nidra"

Gentle breath, movement, and relaxation practices designed to soothe the nervous system

Tips and tools to optimize your rest and relaxation experiences during practice and in daily life

Opportunities for self-reflection
